Students 3rd and 12th

In accordance with Diocesan policy, First Holy Communion may be received in the 3rd year of religious education by children who have reached the age of reason (7), are in the least 3rd grade, and been prepared to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be received before reception of 1st Holy Communion. Regular participation in Sunday Mass, good attendance in catechism sessions, and attendance at parent meetings and rehearsals is required. Baptismal certificate for child must be received or located within our parish records before he or she receives the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist (1st Holy Communion)
